SoftShellWeb was founded in 2019 to break that cycle.
Operating as a legally registered entity (Softshell Hosting Ltd) in the United Kingdom, we made the conscious decision to build our infrastructure from the ground up. We purchase, rack, and manage our own enterprise hardware—from Intel Xeon Gold processors in our European hubs to extreme AMD Ryzen nodes in California. By owning the hardware and managing our own IP space, we eliminate the middleman entirely.

Softshell Hosting Ltd is officially registered in London, UK. We deploy our first wholly-owned European server racks to provide transparent, high-uptime SSD VPS hosting.
2021
Strategic expansion into the United States. We launch our highly successful California datacenters to capture the intense demand for Trans-Pacific routing.
2023

Is SoftShellWeb a reseller of another cloud provider?
No. SoftShellWeb does not rent or resell space from providers like AWS, DigitalOcean, or Linode. We purchase and own our enterprise server hardware outright, lease private rack space in Tier 1 datacenters, and manage our own IP allocations.

SoftShellWeb is the trading name of Softshell Hosting Ltd, a legally registered corporate entity headquartered in London, United Kingdom. We operate globally but are governed by UK commercial law.
How is your customer support structured?
Because we operate our own hardware, our support is 100% in-house. We do not outsource to third-party call centers. When you submit a technical ticket, it goes directly to our Tier-2 and Tier-3 system administrators who have root access to the physical nodes to solve issues immediately.
